So the project I’ve been working on is…(drumroll please)…a hedge fund focused on green investments.  I was inspired to start this up after having dinner with some friends.  I’ve always been a staunch proponent of investing and started when I was in high school so when the conversation veered in that direction, I naturally had a lot to say.   And despite my prodding to start investing themselves, they shrugged off my pleas due to lack of knowledge and experience as well as fear of losing money.  This was not the first time I’ve heard those excuses, nor was it the first time I heard the suggestion that I invest their money for them – it was the first time I was inclined to actually act upon that suggestion.  It was like one of those dinners where you get inspired to jot down business ideas on a napkin and I started working out some of the details.  It will definitely be a challenge, but starting something up sounds like a fun and interesting experience.  There’s still a lot more work to do so stay tuned for more updates.
