Here’s an interesting piece I came across: Countries Billionaires Could Buy.  While it’s an interesting premise that caught my attention, it merely matches up a billionaire’s net worth to a country’s GDP and I don’t a country’s GDP reflects the its true value.  It might be indicative, but it’s not the exact figure.  For example, the United States GDP is $14.2 trillion, but the value of all United States real estate alone is around $35 trillion.  Just as your income is not equivalent to your net worth, a country’s GDP is not equal to its value.  Nonetheless, it’s still an interesting article especially if you’re into random country trivia.

If you like reading about billionaires, here’s another slideshow from Forbes: Fun Billionaire Statistics.
