I like reading the Oddly Enough section of Reuters and saw something that really piqued my interest: Man makes living by selling the shirt on his back. Jason Sadler founded www.iwearyourshirt.com where he sells days in which he’ll wear a company’s shirt. It sounded a bit silly to me at first, but he’s a former marketing professional and uses a variety of social media sites to supposedly earn his fees.

I took a look at his site and his pricing scheme is interesting. It starts at $1 on January 1 and then increases $1 everyday so December 31 would be $365. If he sold out a whole year, he would make $66,795. And business seems to be going well – he’s expanding to add another guy on the West Coast and doubling his rates. I bet he saves a lot of money not buying his own shirts too.
Who knows what else is next? Out of curiosity, I looked up iwearyourhat.com and iwearyourpants.com and both were taken already!
